The Contra Costa Centre Transit Village is a major transit-oriented, multi-use community at the heart of Contra Costa County. Easy access to BART, Interstate 680 and Contra Costa County's main bus routes makes the Centre (recognized by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors as an unincorporated community located in Contra Costa County)

the most convenient and accessible mixed-use, transit community in the Bay Area. From its inception in 1985, transit leaders, county officials, area residents and business interests have worked together to create the most unique live/work environment in Northern California — the Contra Costa Centre Transit Village.

he Contra Costa Centre area, which surrounds and encompasses the Pleasant Hill BART station platform, is a 125-acre master-planned transit community featuring approximately 1.75 million square feet of existing Class A office and commercial space, two full-service hotels and nearly 2,300 multi-family residential units. At completion, Contra Costa Centre Transit Village will consist of more than two million square feet of office/commercial development, 3,000 residential units, 50,000 square feet of retail, 3,500 square feet or civic use and over eight acres of green space.
